(4) Promote the further elimination of inclusions during the pouring process

① Large-capacity tundish, increasing the average residence time of molten steel;
②Change the flow trajectory of molten steel in the tundish, tundish retaining wall + dam, choke;
③ Tundish argon blowing technology;
④ Electromagnetic centrifugal rotation of the tundish;
⑤ Electromagnetic stirring (EMS) of the crystallizer;
⑥ Electromagnetic braking of the mold (EMBR);

(5) Improve the level of unsteady pouring operations

Steady state refers to the pouring operation with normal pulling speed. Unsteady state refers to the pouring operation in which the pouring is opened, the ladle is changed, the pouring ends, and the drawing speed changes suddenly. The production test pointed out that the T[O] index of the steady-state casting slab is set as 1, and the T[O] index of the unsteady-state casting: the first billet 1.44~2.38, the continuous casting billet 1.10~1.17, and the tail billet 1.02~1.22. Large inclusion index: normal billet is 1, while the first billet is 3.86 to 7.23, the continuous casting billet is 1.87 to 8.61, and the tail billet is 1.49.
The above facts show that unsteady casting significantly deteriorates the cleanliness of cast slabs. How to improve the operation level of unsteady casting and increase the cleanliness of cast slabs to the level of steady state casting is the key to improving the overall quality of continuous casting slabs. Arouse enough attention.
